I have no problem with the shot Melo took. The shot gave the Knicks a chance to get a rebound and put back. It didn't work out that way, but I think the shot makes sense. If Melo takes a few more dribbles to the basket, he leaves no chance to rebound. Yes, you can argue that he would have had a higher percentage shot, but given Chicago's defense, they most likely would have collapsed, creating a tougher shot. Kind of like the shot the other guy made, he just happed to say his prayers before the game. Melo missed a good shot with a clean look. It happens.
