He planning to wear #31, stands 6'10", has a unique combination of power, speed and non-stop energy. He can score in the post, knock down a midrange jumper and run a pick and roll to perfection. He's an excellent weak side shot blocker, plays unrelenting man to man defense, understands defensive assignments and rotations and doesn't mind pounding the glass. He's a young vet with healthy knees and ankles. With professional career averages of 21.3 pts, 9 rbs and 1.4 blocks per game he is a beast at PF.
Ladies and Gentlemen I give you the Knicks newest Power Forward Kenar'e Stoutin!
Well....... not really. Reports have it that Mike Woodson is planning on alternating Kenyon Martin and Amar'e Stoudemire at power forward to save their bodies for the playoffs. They both give the Knicks something needed; Martin defensive intensity and rebounding, Amar'e great offensive skills and a low post presence. Kmart has healthy knees but a bad ankle, Amar'e has healthy ankles but bad knees. Imagine if we could morph them into one player.... we'd have a superstar power forward on our hands!
